Compare the Honda Pilot

Compare the 2016 Honda Pilot
The Honda Pilot always impresses, and the 2016 model year is no exception. Here’s how it stacks up against the competition.

You’ll get a wide stance and long wheelbase in the Honda Pilot, which gives you a better grip on the road and better control than the slightly smaller Toyota Highlander and Hyundai Santa Fe.

Roomy Interior

All three SUV’s have three rows of seating, but neither the Toyota Highlander nor the Hyundai Santa Fe is quite as roomy as the Honda Pilot, which gives passengers a generous 152.9 cubic feet of volume to stretch. The Pilot is also famous for its spacious third row that allows even back row passengers to be comfortable.

Fuel Economy

Even though you have space, why should you sacrifice fuel efficiency for it? Honda wondered the same thing, which is why the Pilot edges out the competition with an EPA-estimated 27 mpg on the highway.

You’ll get all of that fuel efficiency while also getting plenty of power. While the Toyota Highlander and the Hyundai Santa Fe offer suitable I4 and V6 engines, neither of them generate as much power as the Pilot’s V6, which produces a robust 212 horsepower.
